Red rice red , a natural food color, is extracted from red or black rice of Oryza sativa, by the process of extracting, filtering, refining and purifying, concentrating, sterilizing(liquid product), spraying and drying(powder product)
The appearance of red rice red is purplish red liquid or powder. The main ingredient is cyanidin-3-glucoside, a kind of anthocyan. It can dissolve in alcohol and water easily, can not dissolve in acetone and petroleum benzene. It has a good resistance to light and heat, but not to oxidant. Na+,K+,Ca2+,
Ba2+,Zn2+,Cu2+and trace Fe2+do not affect the pigment, but the shade of color becomes rose when there are much Sn2+,and becomes fading and deposition to Pb2+and much Fe2+. The shade of color solution is red when PH is between 1~6, pale brown to yellow when PH is between 7~12

Powder is packed with corrugated box, carton, or plastic drum with inner double plastic bags, net weight is 10kg or 20kg for each container. Liquid is packed with plastic drum, net weight is 20kg.Package standards are also available according to consumer‵s demand.
·Storage
Sealed, avoid light, store in cool and dry place.
·Shelf Life
If the storage condition attains as mentioned above, Powder two years from production date, liquid is six months(unopened). Once opened, should seal up again and use within six months(powder)or one month(liquid).
